Artist's Statement

Jan-Marie has always lead a life rich in art and design. Her artistic passion began at an early age in drawing, painting and jewelry design. As she grew and her focus became professional, she shifted towards fashion and then interiors, graduating in Vancouver BC with honors in interior design. After working as a designer, she found she still needed to create and returned to her roots in painting and jewelry design. So began her path as a silver and goldsmith. She is inspired to create unique pieces by hand in sterling silver and gold with clean lines and a beautifully crafted simplicity.
